Neither are dog eared, and even the inserted adverts (one for a very shady-sounding Norman Rockwell-fronted art scheme) are still there and crisp. The stapled bindings are as new. The only signs of age are a few small areas where the surface has rubbed on the cover print on the How to Paint Flowers.
