Victorian Commemorative Wedding Mugs, Christmas Day 1871
Perfect as a romantic Christmas gift, a unique pair of antique victorian commemorative wedding mugs made to mark the marriage of John and Maria Williams on Christmas Day, 1871. Their hand painted lettering and soft age-worn glaze carry the quiet romance of a Victorian celebration.
Display them as tokens of devotion and history, or use them as pretty vessels for flowers and gathered herbs. Each bears the gentle patina of a life well-lived.
Condition: The paint is scratched in places, and there are tiny nibbles to the rim and foot of the Maria Williams mug that are visible only with close inspection, but otherwise, they are in good condition, with no cracks or major chips.
Dimensions: Each L15cm x W10 x H10
