Dahlias Original Aquatint with Red Painted Frame | Mid-century Italian | Adelindo Tassi

Gorgeous original aquatint by mid-century Italian artist, Adelindo Tassi depicting bright cactus-flowered Dahlias in the late summer garden. At a distance it's an attractive floral print, but move closer and the impressionistic use of multiple layers of ink is quite graphic and almost surreal. 

Framed in a smart red painted frame and ready to hang, it's a great pop of colour for anywhere in the home, where it could hang alone, or mix well with other pictures.

Hand signed and marked P.G (Short for Prova Grafica, which is Italian for Artist's Proof), this would have been a working proof printed by the artist themselves before a limited edition of prints would have been run, so it is rarer than the normal run of prints. 

Please note: This piece was difficult to photograph. The best representation of colours and condition are the main picture, where it has been photographed in natural light. 

Dimensions: H 50.5cm x W 28.5cm

Condition: Very good. Print is clean and bright, with only light areas of yellowing near the bottom. Frame is solid and securely taped at the back, the hanging wire is strong. There are some light scratches on the glass at the edges, visible under close inspection.

We are happy to announce we now ship to Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, France, Belgium and Luxembourg for a flat rate of £43. 

Your order should arrive 5–12 working days after dispatch (varies by country and customs processing times) We’ll email tracking details as soon as your parcel has been shipped.

Because we are a small UK business and not currently part of the IOSS scheme, VAT and duties are NOT included at checkout. Your local delivery provider may request: VAT at your country’s standard rate and a small customs handling/administration fee. These charges must be paid by the recipient for the parcel to be delivered. 

Returns

We accept returns up to 21 days from the day your order is delivered.

We reserve the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on items that are deemed damaged upon return - scratched, worn or not in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
