Early Staffordshire Huntsman Figure

Early Staffordshire figure of a huntsman. Likely early 19th century, he's galloping on a piebald hunter with his coat flying out behind him and his black and white spotted spaniel running at full pelt beside him.

Staffordshire flatback figures have a humble, folk art charm. Made for the masses they featured characters from everyday life and the pop culture of the time. Decorating with them lends character and a touch of old fashioned whimsy. 

Dimensions: H11cm x W7.5 x D3cm

Condition: No chip or cracks, but some discolouration of the glaze at the base on both sides of the figure. Some decorative paint loss which adds character.

Returns

We accept returns up to 21 days from the day your order is delivered.

We reserve the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on items that are deemed damaged upon return - scratched, worn or not in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

We do not offer returns on vintage items (unless damage occurs in transit) due to the fact that all the pieces are entirely unique and will show wear consistent with age.
