Handmade Brass Dish | Nigerian Nupe Metalwork | Mid to Late 20th Century
Pretty Nigerian handworked metal dish, made by Nupe people in the traditional metal-work centre of Bida, Nigeria and marked BIDA. Perfect for trinkets, change, candles, or displaying items with a soft gold shine behind them.
The pattern is stamped by hand and the rim is scalloped. This dish is small enough to tuck away in summer, but bring out as the days draw in to add some cosiness in winter.
Condition: Excellent. It's been left unpolished to preserve the aged look, but would polish back to a shine easily if preferred.
Dimensions: H 1cm x W 15.5cm
