Insect Life in Britain | Richly Illustrated | 1946
A slim introduction to the insect life of Britain by Geoffrey Taylor, published in 1946. Beautifully illustrated with 8 full colour plates and 22 line drawings, it would make a great coffee table or guest bedroom book.
Grouped with other Britain in Pictures book titles, they make an attractive collection. Borrow from floristry influencers and stack them with a simple mug of cottage flowers on top for a relaxed vintage style.
Condition: Good. Dust cover misssing. Cover clean, and no foxing, but the bottom of the spine is chipped (see main picture), and the pages have unstuck from the binding in the middle of the book, but the binding is still good. There is discolouration on the front and back inner pages. All in all, still in good vintage condition, but showing signs of its age. Condition is reflected in the price.
Dimensions: H 23.5cm x W 17cm x D 1cm
