A pair of vintage Walter Foster softcover art books including How to Draw Flowers & How to Draw Trees by Frederick Garner, both are the early first editions with $1 cover prices.
These are a perfect gift for lovers of mid-century art, as the illustrations and prints in both are gorgeous. They are also very decorative with their typically 1950s bright, illustrated covers.
How to Paint Flowers is by Walter T. Foster himself and is in full colour, and More Trees is by Frederick Garner and is in black and white. Both authors were popular American mid-century artists.
Condition: Excellent. Neither are dog eared, and even the inserted adverts (one for a very shady-sounding Norman Rockwell-fronted art scheme) are still there and crisp. The stapled bindings are as new. The only signs of age are a few small areas where the surface has rubbed on the cover print on the How to Paint Flowers. They are otherwise perfect.

Returns
We accept returns up to 21 days from the day your order is delivered.
We reserve the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on items that are deemed damaged upon return - scratched, worn or not in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
